Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Use power tools and hand tools to measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit
- Assist in wiring buildings, including running electrical cables and connecting outlets, switches, and fixtures
- Install low voltage systems such as fire alarms, security systems, and data networks
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Note: This is an entry-level position for individuals looking to gain experience as an electrician. Apprentices will receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced electricians.

Pay: $20.54 - $24.73 per hour
