The EKG Technicianwill work within the EKG/Cardiology Dept.
The EKGTech performs 12 lead and rhythm strip electrocardiograms, applies and removes Holter monitor, and responsible for all corresponding documentation
- Performs ABI, PVR, and Segmental blood pressures with and without exercise
Hours:
- PRN
- 7a - 3:30p or 6a - 2:30p, Mon. - Fri.
- Weekend shifts also available
Experience:
- One year of experience in cardiovascular testing is preferred, but not mandatory
- Completion of EKG course preferred, but not mandatory
Education/Licensure:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- CCT certification must be completed within one year of hire
- CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
