Position Summary
Position provides EKGs, Holter Monitor placement and scanning tests on patients; collects and maintains patient data; maintains equipment and supplies.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs EKGs, transcribe interpretations and maintain EKG system.
  • Assists with Holter and Event Monitor placement, disconnection, download, shipping, interpretation and charting.
  • Assists with Stress Tests.
  • Assists in patient charting.
  • May provide backup to Heart Station front desk.
  • Schedules patient tests.
  • Assists Sonographers with patients.
  • Assists in the training of other staff members as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college or allied health field experience.
  • Basic understanding of the cardiovascular system.
  • Ability to perform EKG's, Holter Monitor placement and scanning tests.
  • Ability to interact with children and parents.
  • Basic office skills.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft office suite abilities.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
  • CPR or BLS required.

C03-H
Salary Range
$15.25 - $19.96 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
