Assists with the performance of Stress Testing in Non Invasive Cardiology,

Proper protocol in assisting with Stress Testing is carried out in that: test is explained to the patient, applications are correctly applied to the chest, and variations of EKG s are recognized while the test is in progress, paper work is completed, and assistance from physician/provider is obtained as needed while the test is being performed,

Reviews findings from each electrode position for chart records for deviation from normal at time of EKG so that findings are timely and accurate,

Notes that all equipment is properly maintained,

Secures necessary supplies and equipment,

Patient records are properly maintained,

Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her unit,

Cooperates with physician/provider by making available all the information that the physician/provider needs to perform his professional and administrative duties,

Assesses data reflective of each patient s status and interprets information needed in order to identify each patient s age requirements relative to his or her age specific health care needs,

Demonstrates an awareness of safety, security, life safety, preparedness and utility and equipment management policies

Covers other duties in Non-invasive cardiology under direction of clinical coordinator and or director,
