Form of work This is a benefited, part time (48 hours every two weeks) position working Friday-Sunday generally from 7:30am to 4pm. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

As an EKG Technician you will be responsible for performing technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient, including emergency procedures as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control. Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- National EKG Registry is preferred
- 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's
- 4-6 months experience performing Stress Testing.
- Basic EKG training is required
- Current BLS from American Heart Association required.
