Job Duties:
- Operating and maintaining sophisticated EKG equipment to capture accurate readings.
- Recording patients' medical histories.
- Monitoring patient heart status during cardiopulmonary procedures.
- Managing the EKG database and ensuring that all tests results are properly filed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in diagnosing cardiovascular issues.
- Assuring the comfort and safety of the patient while performing tests.
- Regularly preparing and furnishing reports on the data acquired from the EKG procedures.
Specifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent patient service skills and attention to detail.
- Able to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Candidates with ACLS certification will be given preference.
