Job description

Successful candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to a client manufacturing facility. This position works directly with the Environmental Team’s engineers to evaluate facilities and processes with respect to potential hazards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical background.


  • Work with client(s) to ensure compliance with facility environmental, health, and safety policies and other applicable regulatory agencies
  • Evaluate products for potential user hazards, including data collection
  • Conduct environmental, health, and safety training
  • Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures
  • Review and update appropriate personal protective equipment in FOPs (Facility Operating Procedures) for workers to follow
  • Create/update waste stream profiles
  • Conduct equipment inspections
  • Air emission modeling
  • Write/review hazard evaluations for new materials
  • Work with business to audit daily work permits and report findings to supervisors
  • Additional responsibilities according to client needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
  • Prior customer service experience with great interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Possess the ability to follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules
  • Previous environmental experience and knowledge of environmental regulations is a plus
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
