Provides technical support for all Employee Health systems. Works with each area of Employee Health to maintain daily system operations and maximize the efficiency of office functions.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the functional and technical operations of various systems utilized by Employee Health and HR.
- Completes daily/weekly/monthly reporting tasks via processes already established. Requires good working knowledge of Excel.
- Produces all ad hoc reports needed from various HR departments from available data sources with the approval of the EH Manager.
- Create usernames / passwords for EH electronic system. Completes necessary paperwork for user accounts.
- Add/modify/troubleshoot user accounts for internal and external departments.
- Places support calls to HR Service Center vendors and the NSH Help Desk when necessary; follows-up to resolve and documents all issues.
- Conducts troubleshooting activities on hardware/software problems for departmental staff; works with technical staff to resolve more technical issues.
- Demonstrates service excellence behaviors routinely in encounters with all internal and external customers.
- Maintains EH database by updating, adding, and deleting records, editing information, and archiving files.
- Conducts various types of staff education, orientation, development and in-service programs.
- Prepares and collates necessary course materials and audiovisual aides for class attendees, updates course outline and objectives as needed.
- Maintains education records and files, prepares reports as directed.
- Assists the Supervisor to develop specialized education programs that focus on performance/productivity improvement, regulatory practices, and on-going education requirements.
- Evaluates weekly quality report, analyzes trends in data, makes recommendation on training needs to the department Supervisor based on findings.
- Acts as a liaison for EH by offering assistance to staff as needed to perform daily tasks.
- Serves as a role model and resource to the HR Service Center staff. Also works with the lead, supervisor and manager to ensure a well-planned and implemented orientation and training program for new employees. Identifies and recommends training needs of staff, and participates in developing new training programs.
- Assists in directing unit activities in emergency/disaster situations, such as a fire or code white.
- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injuryaccident to Manager.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Three (3) years healthcare systems experience, or five (5) years information systems experience. General knowledge of Human Resources policies/procedures and Healthcare compliance.
- High degree of emotional intelligence Excellent oral and written communication skills; skilled and experienced in coaching, group facilitation and conflict resolution. Strong customer services skills and attitude. Ability to follow precise procedures with attention to detail. Ability to work with a team to create effective departmental strategies and meet team goals. Skilled in the use and application of Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel, Access, & Outlook) or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of Instructor/Trainer experience, representing HR/Health insurance industry.
- Advanced with Microsoft Excel. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA None
