Efda Dental Assistant - Part Time

Ume Dental Growth is looking for an EFDA Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide assistance of services to patients under the guidance of our current Dentists.

The ideal person for this type of role is a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized and adaptable and an excellent problem solver. This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities: 

• Assisting in various dental procedures, including root canal treatments, fillings, crown preps, making temps, extractions, implant placements
• Taking digital radiographs (X-rays), CBCT scans, and scanners
• Assisting with patient management, including updating medical records, and maintaining accurate treatment notes and reports, providing post-treatment care instructions
• Adhering to infection control protocols, sterilization guidelines, and safety standards
• Cleaning rooms
• Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for patients

Requirements: 

• Dental Assisting Certificate, EDFA Certificate, Xray certified
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of infection control and safety protocols
• 2-3 years previous clinical experience is preferred
