Job Description
A renowned New Jersey-based services organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new EEO / Affirmative Action Investigator to their team. In this role, the EEO / Affirmative Action Investigator will be responsible for looking into charges of alleged discrimination, performing intakes, developing investigative strategies & plans, and preparing Reports of Finding (ROFs) & all related investigative documentation.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite a few days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The EEO / Affirmative Action Investigator will:
- Update the annual Affirmative Action Plan and Appropriation EO/AA book, as well as the Quarterly Department Performance Against Goals report
- Monitor statistics on personnel activity, and reports identified deficiencies to management
- Respond to inquiries and consults with employees on equal opportunity requirements and the organization's non-discrimination policy
- Identify organizational equal opportunity/Affirmative Action issues and concerns to department management
- Support update of internal EO Title VII related reports, department audits and program/policy assessments
- Maintain all EO / AA complaint and case tracking logs and record management systems
- Deliver training and presentations to groups of various sizes on EO/AA policy, procedures and best practices
- Manage the EO / AA case management tracking system
- Provide case management support and technical assistance for employment litigation cases
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Administration or closely related field
- Knowledge and skill in fact-finding, analysis, problem solving, case management, interpretation of regulations and policies
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree
- Experience as a Paralegal
