Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a EEG Technician for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: 

  • Preparing patient for EEG by explaining procedures.
  • Applies electrodes and checks their performance
  • Performing standard EEG recording procedures
  • Calibrates and adjusts EEG apparatus
  • Delivering EEGs to physicians for interpretation.
  • Maintaining records, files, and tracing information.
  • Ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Scheduling and completing pacemaker monitoring, and contacting patients if monitoring is not done.
  • Maintaining pacemaker files.
  • Assisting physicians related tests
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures.
  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
  •   What you will do in this role: 
  • Minimum 1-2 years of EEG experience
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program and/or have at least six months' experience involving training in both practical applications and theory directly related to Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) highly preferred.
  • Certification such as Registered Nerve Conducsion Study Technologist (R.NCS.T.)
  • Successful completion of a two year college program in Neurodiagnostic Technology or an equivalent Associates degree in Health Sciences or related field.
  • At least six months of NCS/EMG experience
