PURPOSE
To accomplish the Educycle Department’s objectives through planning, evaluating activities, coordinating schedules, completing tasks, and providing superior services to our customers.
2.0 SCOPE
To coordinate and carry out Educycle tasks in line with customer and company expectations. Work with Warehouse management, PMs, Production Manager, Dispatch, and Executive Director to ensure that the Educycle Department is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
3.0 JOB DUTIES
- Must be able to speak with the Delcom owner and salvage brokers consistently.
- Must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck (non-CDL, must have clean driving record).
- Must be able to sort salvage.
- Must be able to load and unload items.
- Must be able to palatize product.
- Must be able to, and efficiently, update spreadsheets and inventories.
• Review and schedule Educycle jobs with the Executive Director and Salvage IAR.
• Schedule salvage pickups and deliveries with Dispatch.
• Ensure Educycle projects are on track and on budget.
• Review and update salvage documents with Delcom management daily.
• Develop and execute plans when needed to meet company and customer expectations.
• Maintain and update Educycle inventory management software daily.
• Communicate with salvage brokers on a daily basis.
• Salvage coordinators are expected to work with warehouse management to enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate scope of work, job expectations, and progress of work to Delcom management, Warehouse, and our customers.
• Work with members of management to identify areas of improvement and assist in implementing new ideas and/or processes to improve efficiency.
• Expected to help resolve problems as they present themselves and find solutions that will keep the team on track and on budget.
• Load and Unload trucks.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Operate, examine, grade, and sort electronic equipment.
• Palletize equipment according to company and customer specifications.
• Operate up to a 26-foot non-CDL truck for the pickup or delivery of product.
Sort recyclable materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized department.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Two (2) years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Prior coordination experience.
• No disqualifying criminal events. Must pass all education background checks.
• Basic knowledge of audio, video, interactives, digital media, and control systems.
• Clear driving record.
