ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Easterseals Central Texas began in 1937 as the Texas Society for Crippled Children. In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. Almost twenty years later, we became the Capital Area Rehabilitation Center, expanding our services, programs, and the persons served. Today, our services are focused on multiple areas of care that create successful outcomes for clients from birth to advanced age. Our mission is to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people's everyday lives.

Our services are only as effective as the quality of the people who make up our team. To achieve our mission, we strive to attract and retain talented and committed staff who believe in our cause. This is why we provide competitive compensation, great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

YOUR LIFE AS AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM COORDINATOR

As our new Educational Program Coordinator, your commitment to delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is remarkable. You keep up-to-date with the most recent trends and best practices in applied behavior analysis and child development. To ensure the program is running smoothly, you develop daily schedules for activities and staff assignments. You are devoted to the success of our students with disabilities or autism and carry out assessments as instructed by the BCBA. You are a genuine team player, promoting peer-mediated instruction and the use of antecedent-based interventions while ensuring unwavering and effective adherence to behavioral protocols.

Your organizational skills are exemplary, as evidenced by your provision of progress reports for preschool clients, distribution of curriculum assignments to therapists in advance, and meticulous inspection of completed curriculum kits. You are adept at creating activity plans and arranging room zones with materials that guarantee a conducive learning environment. Your proficiency in data analysis is admirable, as demonstrated by your expertise in graphing information related to PLA checks and probes.

Your optimistic outlook is infectious! You hold monthly training on teaching methods and meet weekly with the supervising BCBA to work together on classroom management. You place a high premium on safety and confidentiality, which is evidenced by your adherence to safety protocols and compliance with HIPPA regulations. You uphold the code of ethics policies and procedures and assist in ensuring that licensing standards are upheld at all times. Your exceptional communication skills and outstanding ability to maintain a positive working relationship with your team members are the reasons why you are an excellent fit for this role in child development!
