The Education Transporter has the primary focus of transporting patients to and from CC Education Sessions. The Education Transporter also performs other tasks in between transport times that support the teachers, teacher assistants, Rehab Nurse, and/or others as identified.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Transports patients to and from classroom treatment sessions.

Utilizes transporter, classroom, ARFAC, and special event schedules to organize and plan transport schedule for the day and demonstrates flexibility and creativity throughout the day with this schedule.

Assists teachers, Teacher assistants, nursing, therapists, etc. with miscellaneous projects and/or patient needs to include assisting with getting children up and ready for classes, cleaning and organizing of education supplies and areas.

Communicates closely with nursing and teachers and acts as a liaison between education and nursing for information that needs to be passed before and after classroom sessions.

Remains up to date on competency training, project participation, and current rules and precautions.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Actively pursuing a degree in Special Education or Rehabilitative Therapy preferred.
Experience:
1+ years in childcare or healthcare preferred.
License/Certification/Credential:
