Education Programs Supervisor

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Pay: $15.31-$17.61 Hourly

Experience Required: Two (2) years of experience working in an educational setting within a zoological or similar institution including one (1) years in a supervisory role.

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, Biology, or related field.

Department: Education.

Direct Supervisor: Program Managers

Supervisory Responsibility: Direct (variable); Indirect (variable)

Primary Work Location: Zoo setting, both indoors and outdoors.

Certification: Valid Oklahoma driver's license and completion of OKC Zoo Global Academy training in the first six (6) months of employment

Other: This position is safety sensitive. It is subject to pre-employment and/or periodic background checks, restricted registry checks, and drug testing. Ability to complete CPR/1st Aid certification within 30 days of hire.  This position works around animals susceptible to specific respiratory diseases, thus is subject to annual tuberculosis testing
