Department: ANCC Measurement Services
Salary Hiring Range: $60,000-$72,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)
NOTE: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Union Dues are 1.44% of bi-weekly salary
FLSA: Exempt
Position Summary:
As an Editor and Library Specialist, you will support exam development tasks in the Measurement Services (MS) Department including but not limited to; Copy editing exam items and other resource documents; managing the MS Library; acquiring and maintaining the print and electronic resources used in the development of The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) assessment and associated products. You will also be responsible for preparing materials for and supporting test development activities, monitor and meet department operational needs, and serve as liaison between MS and publishers.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, healthcare or related field.
Related Work Experience:
Three (3) years of experience with copy editing. Experience in book acquisition, research, literature review, and project management.

• Use of office computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online platforms

Additional Qualifications:
Ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple ongoing projects and tasks; accurately attend to details; adapt to changing priorities and work demands; take initiative; work autonomously with limited supervision; work collaboratively and effectively within a team; and lift heavy books.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in item pool development, item reviews, and form development. Experience working with publishers and Library maintenance. Experience in vendor relations in the publishing industry and negotiating agreements and contracts. Experience in providing training and in licensure or certification for a professional association, national testing agency, educational institution, or regulatory agency.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid: Employees are considered Hybrid if they are regularly scheduled to work in at least 20% of their work week or work month in an ANA Enterprise Office.
Hybrid employees are expected to travel to the office when requested and/or when necessary to achieve results or meet business needs.
