Edifecs/EDI DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Edifecs solutions to support various healthcare data exchange needs.
• Design and implement data mappings, transformations, and validations using Edifecs tools.
• Configure and customize Edifecs components to align with our healthcare integration requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and clinicians to ensure the successful integration of Edifecs solutions.
• Perform comprehensive testing of Edifecs implementations, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Edifecs-related matters.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in Edifecs technologies and healthcare industry standards.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Edifecs Developer or similar role in the healthcare industry.
• Strong Java coding skills with hands-on experience in Java development.
• Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
• Expertise in Edifecs products such as SpecBuilder, Transaction Management, and Encounter Management.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data formats and standards including X12, HL7, and HIPAA.
• Proficiency in SQL, XML, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidate must have 8+ Years Experience
• Certification in Edifecs (e.g., Edifecs Associate Developer, Edifecs Certified Developer).
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with other healthcare integration platforms and tools

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
