ED Registered Nurse Requirements:
Active New York License
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
2 years of ED nursing

$55.25/hr and $82.87/hr overtime. Weekly Taxable: $1,989
Weekly Per Diem: $448 ($64/day)
Weekly Housing: $707 ($101/day)
Weekly nontaxable Stipends: $1,155 ($483 per diem + $707 lodging)

ED Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions
- Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention
- Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience
- Provide IV insertions, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing
