Job Overview: Position is responsible for development, planning and management of community and Economic Development Projects. Works as a liaison between public and private sectors and the SMSC. Assumes responsibility for community and Economic Development Project performance including costs, schedule, quality, and project status. Assists with land use recommendations, economic and community development initiatives.

Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, planning, engineering, or a closely related field required.
- 5 + years of professional experience in business, Economic Development, community development or a closely related field required.
- 5+ years' experience in project management, project planning required.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiar with project management software programs such as Microsoft Project (preferred), Asana, Aha!, Miro, Microsoft Planner, or similar.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Valid Class D driver's license may be required with a good driving record.
