Ecommerce Support Specialist – Customer service

Rock Bottom Auto is a locally owned and operated parts supplier for the professional installer. We have over 50 years of experience serving family owned repair shops, vehicle fleets, national service chains, and dealerships. Our customer service staff are experts in parts with decades of experience cataloging and finding the correct parts for your repair. We offer quick delivery and a huge selection of original equipment and aftermarket brands in stock. We also sell tools, shop equipment, and supplies.

Rock Bottom Auto, is currently looking to hire an Ecommerce Support Specialist at our Chattanooga location. As an Ecommerce Support Specialist, you will provide or retail ecommerce channels with sales and order support and maintain inventory integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties as tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Manage receiving and filling orders via the on-line ordering platforms (Amazon and eBay).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the e-commerce platform and suggest changes to improve customer experience and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Assist with customer retention including navigating the website, placing orders, and resolving issues related to ordering.
  • Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Process and track customer returns and ensure accuracy of inventory/credits.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner. Collaborate with customers to facilitate investigation and closure of product complaints/cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in e-commerce customer service preferably in Amazon and eBay. ShipStation and DST knowledge is a plus.
  • Preferred experience in the automotive parts industry.

Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Proficient in computer skills. (e.g., Microsoft Office suite)
  • eCommerce and ERP systems
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and customer relations skills.
  • Must be local and able to work on-site in Chattanooga TN. (Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
