Job Description
The Ecommerce QA Analyst will partner with the development teams responsible for the core web development to ensure quality delivery of software features on Helzberg's Ecommerce storefront. The ideal candidate has experience developing manual and automated functional tests for the Helzberg Diamonds Salesforce B2C E-commerce Site. This position requires a highly competent, self-directed individual who can help define QA process and ensure adherence to quality standards. The QA Analyst will be responsible for validating that new features and enhancements meet the requirements of business stakeholders by comparing test results against functional documentation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining functional tests, processes and strategies.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness with a focus on mitigating risks.
- Ensure test results are documented, evaluated, and disseminated; collaborate on troubleshooting issues.
- Identify testability requirements, utilizing industry standards for automated testing for all the E-Commerce enhancements.
- Write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test results.
- Develop automated regression tests using common test automation platforms (e.g. TestComplete, Selenium etc.).
- Manage competing deadlines in an agile development environment.
- Provide testing support post Production releases.
- Communicate and report on the status of the release test activities to respective stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of QA Analyst experience.
- Previous experience as a QA Analyst or Engineer supporting Ecommerce development teams a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, particularly as it relates to the QA function.
- Basic familiarity with SQL or querying relational databases to support troubleshooting activities.
- Knowledge of defect management processes and experience with technical task management software like JIRA.
- Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
