Job description

We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to support our DTC channel. This person will lead the day to day operations of our website while implementing strategies to optimize the shopping experience. This role will work closely with our Director of Ecommerce to execute against our channel roadmap with the ultimate goal of driving sales, AOV, and conversion rate across customer types (new, returning, subscribe & save). You will also work closely with our design & development agency to ideate, brief, QA, launch and test new features and functionality for the website. This role will require a deep understanding of Shopify and ability to prioritize and address friction points based on data, customer insights, and industry best practices.
The right person for this role will have a mix of outstanding communication, organizational and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate has experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments and can tackle the day-to-day details while also managing larger projects from start to finish. You will also be responsible for managing external agencies and building strong relationships with key channel partners.
**This role is remote. We are headquartered in Vermont, with team members all over.
Requirements

  • Manage all site updates related to merchandising, product launches, bundle creation, PDPs, PCPs and LPs
  • Ensure campaigns and promotions are seamlessly executed on site and in collaboration with traffic driving channels (email, paid social, organic social, paid search, etc.)
  • Create detailed briefs for site updates and campaign launches for our creative team
  • Monitor website KPIs and identify trends and opportunities for improvement; produce weekly and monthly channel reports
  • Monitor site UX across desktop & mobile and ensure all features and systems are fully functional; identify any bugs and open tickets accordingly
  • Oversee day-to-day communication with our design & development agency, providing feedback on new website features and leading the QA and testing process
  • Partner and troubleshoot with CX team to find solutions for customer friction points
  • Support the DTC channel roadmap, A/B testing plans and CRO strategies as needed
  • Manage partnership with key Shopify integrations (Recharge, Digioh, Okendo, etc.); have knowledge of their product roadmaps and relevant features for us to implement
  • Lead subscription program optimization strategy alongside retention team
  • Assist with the evaluation, onboarding, and optimization of new tools / apps
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, benchmarks and technologies
  • Create SOPs on new website features and functionality
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure inventory, fulfillment and shipping procedures are optimized and meeting expectations
  • Support and execute against our plans for sampling, GWPs, and surprise and delight
  • Support our plans to expand into international markets in 2024
  • Onboard, train and manage an Ecommerce Coordinator (timing TBD)

About You
  • 5+ years of ecommerce experience, ideally at another DTC company
  • A deep understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
  • Good instinct and knowledge of web design and user experience
  • Keen eye for little details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills; ability to prioritize
  • Ability to take ownership of a project from ideation to execution while measuring overall impact and ROI
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights
  • Quick problem solver; ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Expert in Shopify Plus and solid working knowledge of top Shopify apps
  • Experience with Recharge / other subscription tool is preferred
  • Good understanding of ecommerce operations (inventory, fulfillment, & shipping)
  • Experience with A/B testing tools a plus
  • Passion for skincare is a plus
