Ecommerce Enablement Specialist
The Ecommerce Enablement Specialist will support the Ecommerce business initiatives whose goal is to evangelize, develop and implement School Specialty's Ecommerce Business services portfolio with the goal of 100% of orders received in some electronic method. This includes simple B2B web ordering system customer activation and training to support customers through the transition process.
This role supports our customers through the Ecommerce channel by identifying customers who are not transacting via an electronic channel, communicating benefits of online ordering, assisting with converting customers to online ordering, and communicating the setup and support of new Ecommerce customer accounts to the onboarding team with the goal of 100% of business transactions conducted in some online manner.
This position will execute within the strategy to increase online transactions to include Marketing Campaigns, Sales efforts, outbound calling campaigns, and structured customer programs for onboarding customers in a defined manner. Executes activities related to requirements gathering, solutioning, testing, documentation, and support. Responsibilities include identifying ways to increase customer satisfaction based on customer interactions and providing the appropriate online solution.
The base hourly range for this role is $21-$26 per hour
Summary of Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the School Specialty online experience,
  • Including the feature and benefits of each role (buyer, administrator, approver, buy-side punchout).
  • Leverage existing programs and features that will meet customers’ online order processing needs by utilizing all the functionality the School Specialty online has to offer
  • and target accounts and contacts for conversion to online ordering
  • Work in partnership with sales teams to identify and target accounts for conversion to an online package
  • Develop account intelligence and work within the Salesforce platform to track, identify and complete online conversion tasks
  • Engage with Onboarding and the Web Support team as needed in support of customer needs
  • Develop account intelligence and maintain Salesforce account records as needed with pertinent information
  • In an engaging and customer-focused manner, provide demos and Q&A sessions as needed with customers
Minimum Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years’ experience with systems/process improvement projects
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through, the ability to handle and prioritize high volume activities.
  • Experience in Customer Interactions or any other related business area with Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with customers of all levels and types
  • Professional, consultative approach to understanding customer needs and present how to meet those needs through an electronic solution
  • Ability to communicate solutions in an easy-to-understand manner to both customers and internal partners
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Working knowledge of Oracle specifically, order management and CSR functions
  • Curious, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and accountable
  • Experience in SalesForce CRM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and collaboration skills
