We are high volume ecommerce company, with offices in NY and NJ, that sells a wide assortment of products across many online platforms (Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com, Macys.com, etc.). We specialize in photography, electronics, audio, and houseware products, but sell many other categories as well.
We are looking for an ecommerce/third-party platform Business Analyst to join our small but passionate team of ecommerce specialists in our Brooklyn, NY office.
You will work with the Ecommerce team and create reports to analyze trends and sales data. This is a key role to support our business and maximize our sales.
Job Description:
- Responsible for creating and issuing dashboards and analysis in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI that range from weekly to monthly to bi-annually
- Provide clear stats and advise on observations of the data to inform the business on performance relative to KPIs and goals.
- Create and analyze excel reports that will inform business decisions
- Utilize Ecommerce data from Amazon Seller Central and Noogata to create trend and sales reports using excel and Power BI
- Lead in creating tools for data collection and reporting (i.e. vendor’s scorecards, departmental KPI, etc.) that support day-to-day business with greater efficiency, and always strive for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports regarding shipping, returns, aged inventory, and storage.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Work on ad-hoc reports and projects as needed.
- Be heavily involved in the fine-tuning the current data platforms
Qualifications:
- You have a passion for accuracy, seek clarity, and are clear in your reporting and communication
- Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools: Mastery of data analysis and visualization tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or similar software is critical for interpreting complex data sets and generating actionable insights.
- 2+ years’ experience in data reporting
- Experience with Seller Central and Ecommerce business preferred.
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and offer meaningful insights to improve operational efficiency and performance is crucial for this role.
- Proficient/Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI
