Qualifications Job Summary: Performs echocardiograms and vascular studies. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure: Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible and complete registry within four months of employment.
Experience: Completion of cardiac ultrasound training program, which includes clinical hours, or one-to-two years experience performing echocardiograms, and registry eligible. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of techniques, patient care and use of equipment for echo testing. Ability to produce echo information as required.
Preferred Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Licensure: N/A Experience: One-to-two years of experience performing echocardiograms. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of working with digital imaging and information management system.
