We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist to join our medical team. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using sonography to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be crucial in providing accurate and detailed imaging results. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic procedures using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Obtain patient vital signs and record relevant medical history
- Apply aseptic technique during procedures to maintain a sterile environment
- Analyze and interpret imaging results to identify abnormalities or potential issues
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results
Skills:
- Proficient in using sonography equipment for diagnostic evaluations
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to identify abnormalities or potential issues in imaging results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Certification as an Echo Technologist or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in performing echocardiograms and cardiac diagnostic procedures preferred
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus
