Vital DiagnosTech is currently seeking a talented and passionate Echo Tech/Cardiovascular Sonographer. As an Echo Tech/Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in performing echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures on patients
- Correctly position patients and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
- Capture and analyze ultrasound images of the heart and related structures
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care throughout the imaging process
- Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography and cardiovascular sonography
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Cardiac Sonography or a related field
- Valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Adult Echocardiography
- State licensure as a Cardiovascular Sonographer
- CCI Certification
- No experience required
- Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in capturing and analyzing ultrasound images
