This position comes with a 20% PRN differential on top of your base rate of pay!

Job Summary:

 

• Provides specialized cardiovascular care, while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.
• Performs/reviews a baseline patient assessment, and evaluates patient response to diagnostic cardiac procedures.
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance, as specified by the manufacturer, of all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used for procedures in the specific area of operation.

This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 20% differential on top of the base rate of pay.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• RDCS Required - Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) One year of experience in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), preferred
• HS GED or equivalent required 
• Graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing) or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) strongly preferred
• BLS through American Heart Association required 

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Pay Range

$37.59 - $61.47 / hour
