Eastford, CT: Cutting Operator, 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Cutting Operator (2nd Shift) at our Eastford, CT Facility.

Location: Eastford, CT

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am)

Additional 10% Shift Differential Increase in Pay

Position entails general Cutting Operator including:

• Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment.
• Responsible for getting first piece acceptance form quality department.
• Responsible for performing daily preventive maintenance.
• Set up fixture per set up sheets.
• Laser test coupons per work order instructions.
• Replace nitrogen, helium and Co2 gas bottles as required.
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to SQA sheets, counts, scrap, time, etc., according to Company policy.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

Now, here’s what we need from you:

• High School or equivalent
• Must be able to read and work from work order instructions
• Must have general computer skills
• Basic blueprint interpretation skills
• CNC Experience – Preferred
