Job Title: Vice President of Sales - East Coast
About the Company:
We are working with a leading manufacturer in the hospitality carpet industry, dedicated to providing high-quality flooring solutions to hotels, resorts, and other hospitality establishments. With a commitment to innovation, design, and sustainability, the company has established themselves as a trusted partner in the industry. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead their East Coast sales team.
Job Summary:
As the Vice President of Sales - East Coast, you will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and fostering strong customer relationships within the hospitality flooring industry. You will bring your deep industry knowledge and extensive network to support and empower our sales representatives in the region. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies, build and manage a high-performing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the east coast sales team, setting clear goals and strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Industry Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the hospitality flooring industry to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and use this insight to inform sales strategies.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry to enhance market presence and drive business growth.
• Team Development: Train and mentor a team of Sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans, promotional activities, and market penetration tactics.
• Customer Engagement: Personally engage with major clients and prospects to build rapport, understand their needs, and negotiate deals when necessary.
• Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of Sales leadership experience in the hospitality flooring or hospitality related industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
• A strong network of contacts within the hospitality industry.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed within the East Coast region.
