POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:
As a Retail Field Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our retail operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to meet our staffing needs across multiple retail locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
The Retail Field Recruiter will be responsible for:
Collaborate with district managers to identify staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment plans to ensure seamless hiring for the northeast.
Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, job fairs, and grassroots in store initiatives.
Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruiting agencies and job boards, to enhance candidate sourcing efforts.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, namely Lovisa's field and Support Center leaders to ensure store vacancies are addressed efficiently.
Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and industry conferences to promote our employer brand and attract prospective candidates.
Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring practices.
Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the retail industry.
Strong understanding of retail operations and the ability to assess candidates' fit for various roles within a retail environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Willingness to travel to various retail locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using social media and other digital platforms for recruiting purposes.
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
Familiarity with retail-specific recruiting challenges and best practices.
