Early Morning Dog Boarding Attendant

Creekside Pet Center is looking for dog daycare Attendants to care for our dogs in a professional and compassionate manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Feed and water dogs.
• Clean up dog messes and keep dog food areas clean.
• Bathe dogs.
• Feeding dogs.
• Clean up messes.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with animals of course is a plus! We are open day and night, so you can work when you want!
• Flexibility in schedule (work during the day or evening shifts) to accommodate life commitments or work obligations. We are open 24 hours a week!
• A friendly and professional demeanor.
• A passion for animals and kindness towards others.

Creekside Pet Center LLC is a premier pet care facility in Columbia, Mo. We are looking for some part time and full time help!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Qualified applicants will be highly self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, pet focused, team environment; have a sense of humor and enjoy working around animals!

This is not a position that consist of playing with puppies and kittens but rather providing a clean healthy environment for our guest to stay in. It is hard work, involves lots of cleaning, and lots of poop.

This position requires your full attention. It is extremely detail oriented. The health, happiness and safety of our guests depend on your pet care knowledge, keen observation skills, and attention to detail.

- Position is physically demanding and requires great deal of stamina

- Superior animal handling skills with all sizes and breeds of dogs is a must

The facility operates 7 days per week, 365 days per year, thus requires a flexible schedule including Early Mornings, afternoons, nights, holidays, and weekends are a must.

-Employee will be required to work in our retail area, front desk, boarding and dog daycare areas.

- Good customer service, phone, and computer skills are a necessity.

-You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• This position will be required to work both the front desk along with attending to the dogs in playgroups, feeding, walking, administer medications and ensure a safe environment for dogs and employees.

• Shift work along with the ability to work weekends and holidays are required for all positions
• Must be willing to clean and scrub tediously for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift at least 50 LBS
• Must live within 30 miles of our facility

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
