Early Morning Baker

Mother bakery & cafe is hiring for an experienced Early Morning bread baker. Responsibilities includes baking product shaped the previous day, determining any additional proofing needs as necessary, finishing bake to ensure highest quality and presentation possible. The position is full time, beginning typically at 3 am, and includes assisting mixing team with setup of pans, some prep work, and shaping of any doughs ready before completion of shift. Hours and schedule are up for discussion for the right candidate. Experience required.

Mother focuses primarily on sourdough bread baking, with some enriched doughs also being produced. Typical bake includes focaccia, baguettes, pan loaves, boules, bagels, english muffins, pretzels, and babka. We offer completive pay and inclusion in the cafe tip pool.
