Bright Start, LLC is seeking a dynamic Early Intervention Supervisor for Richland/Lexington Counties. Candidate is expected to have excellent leadership skills, self-motivation, great communication skills and one year of experience in Early Intervention. Experience with Routines Based Early Intervention is a plus. Must be ready to embrace Routine Based Services to lead Early Interventionist staff to support families and children.
· Completes one random file review per month for each Early Interventionist.
· Home visits will be made quarterly as a minimum (visit, discussion, detailed report of visit, suggestions, referrals, etc.)
· Responsible for observing and providing feedback for annual RBI’s.
· Holds monthly meetings with Early Interventionist to review caseloads, discuss issues with families, and make recommendations as needed.
· Be available for questions, problem solving, and following up on referrals that are processing.
· Be available for training and troubleshooting with particular areas of need and one on one training and help if needed.
· Attend monthly supervisor meetings.
· Attend quarterly management team meetings.
· Establish a system to maintain a caseload consisting of BN and DDSN eligible children, while managing required paperwork and family resources.
· Collaborate with trainer to prepare for monthly staff meetings, consisting of necessary speakers, training and Early Interventionist updates.
· Attend leadership cohort meetings quarterly.
· Interview, hire, and assist in training new Early Interventionists.
· Maintain efficient and current documentation of all issues concerning Early Interventionist job performance and disciplinary actions.
· Work with other supervisors to maintain consistency with support of all Early Interventionists.
· Attend local BabyNet Meetings monthly and quarterly.
· Attend DDSN counterpart meetings.
· Be available to assist in marketing as needed by representing Bright Start at various conferences, health fairs, physician’s offices, daycares, etc.
· Meet with Regional or State Director monthly to report status of the 3 critical measurement indicators, referrals, hiring, staff, service provisions, and any other topics needed.
· Perform other functions and duties as assigned by State and/or Regional Director.
