Gymboree Play & Music is the worlds leading parent-child interactive Play, Music & Art program for children ages newborn to five years. At Gymboree you will help children develop physical, social and cognitive skills. You will also help their parents understand that development.
The Job

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities.
  • Gymboree classes include age appropriate play activities on our custom designed play equipment, songs, parachute play, and bubbles.
  • Music classes involve instrument activities, singing, dancing and exploring a variety of music styles from around the world.
  • Arts classes offer hands-on, process-oriented activities including painting, sculpting, collage making and dress-up time.
  • Birthday parties are another way to engage with our families
• Sales/Customer Service
  • Provide information and sell enrollments, merchandise & birthday parties.
  • Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, greet and service customers.
  • Assist with off-site grassroots events.
  • Attend designated staff meetings and trainings.
  • Gymboree Play & Music provides lesson plans and training necessary.

KEY SKILLS AND TRAITS

• Experience working with children newborn to 5 years preferred
• Group leadership skills
• Sales experience
• Customer service oriented
• Team player
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and move play equipment
• Clean, physical appearance
• Outgoing, enthusiastic, gregarious, creative

HOURS: Part-time positions are available. Flexible schedule required; classes held weekdays, evenings and weekends.
COMPENSATION: Pay is $17/hour. You and your child will also receive Gymboree classes and discounts on parties and merchandise.
