Location: Solano and Napa Counties in kiddo’s homes, schools, and/or community, and our office.
Description
We are looking for someone who can work independently in the field of early intervention and who has Early Childhood development education and experience.
- Implement early intervention services in kiddo’s home/school/community under the direction of the Director of Early Intervention
- Facilitate Parent/Child Developmental Playgroup
- Collect, maintain, summarize, and records organized data regarding the consumer’s program goals and progress
- Write session notes for kiddo’s parents/guardians and keep a copy for files
- Complete developmental assessments and reports
- Collaborate with team members and families on programs, implements necessary changes/revisions to the consumer’s program as established by the Director of Early Intervention
- Responsible for the assessment, teaching, and implementation of identified developmental goals for children with special needs; in collaboration with other classroom teachers implements individual and group activity plans for all children as needed; Makes recommendations to Head Teacher and EI team in regards to curriculum planning, modifications in order to meet the needs of individual children, writes and provides anecdotal and progress notes; attends meetings; record keeping; work with parents; liaison to EI team. **Communication skills, openess and ability to work as a team member are critical aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Motivated, professional, creative, positive, reliable, and caring individual with effective communication skills (oral and written)

- Valid CA license and proof of current automobile insurance
- Completed Bachelors degree in a related field, MA highly desirable
- If you have a degree in a different field, you must have at least 12-semester units in Child Development In addition to a BA degree
- Has at least 2 years experience working with infants and toddlers
- Has at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities 0-3 years of age
Hourly rate: Depends on experience and level of education
