Summary
Mary Linsmeier Schools has immediate openings for full and part-time teachers at our South Milwaukee and Waukesha locations.
At Mary Linsmeier Schools you will find a high-quality educational program individualized for each child. Most importantly, our teachers build each child's self-esteem and confidence through experiencing success.
Employees are required to complete two Early Childhood Courses (Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills Strategies for the Child Care Teacher) as well as complete a CPR Certification course. These courses can be completed after hire for the right candidate. Individuals who have already completed these courses are encouraged to apply.
Job responsibilities will include lesson planning and implementation, assessments of children, mentoring appropriate behavior, teaching manners, and building self-esteem.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $18.00
Duties
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- ECE coursework preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
