Shift:Typically 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hr/wk). Some evenings or weekends as needed.
Job Summary:The Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky is seeking to fill an Early Care and Education Coach position. Located in Louisville, KY and serving the Jefferson Region, this Health and Safety Coach position will provide technical assistance to licensed Early Care and Education programs with child care regulatory compliance and license deficiencies. It will also collaborate with regional team and statewide network of ECE Coaches providing technical assistance to ECE providers in the areas of health and safety, quality, professional development, and training.
This position works from a central office location in Downtown Louisville (as well as a home office) and requires significant travel throughout all parts of Louisville for on-site visits to deliver relationship-based, individualized technical assistance to help child care providers maintain ongoing compliance with Kentucky child care regulations as well as address any license deficiencies reported to them by the Division of Regulated Child Care.
Preferred candidates will live in or very near Louisville, have both lived experiences and child care work experiences throughout Louisville, and demonstrate knowledge of the Louisville community.
