Position Overview:
As the E-Commerce and Web Coordinator at Ag Express Electronics, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our online platforms. Utilizing experience in website development and analytics, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce operations, website management, and digital marketing. This role will be responsible for optimizing our online store, enhancing user experience, and driving sales through effective digital strategies.
Location: Flexible hybrid work model, allowing remote and onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management

• Manage day-to-day operations of our e-commerce website, ensuring functionality, user experience, and performance.
• Update website content, product listings, and promotions using content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
• Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and sales.
• Work with platforms such as WordPress and Big Commerce to optimize e-commerce functionality.
• Execute daily tasks with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and excellent time and project management skills.
• Utilize experience in photography and video to enhance product presentation and marketing efforts.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and IT to develop and execute digital campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement SEO best practices to optimize website visibility and rankings on search engines.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and partners to support website operations and integration of new features/functionality.
• Provide regular reports and updates on website performance, key metrics, and project status to stakeholders.
• Utilize proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to update and enhance the website, landing pages, and emails.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve search ranking, increase sales, and enhance user experience.
• Bring a forward-thinking approach to daily functions by staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) in e-commerce management, website coordination, or digital marketing roles.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, CMS (e.g., WordPress and Big Commerce), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, website optimization techniques, and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
