Job Summary:
Assist the E-Commerce Manager in the daily operations and general operational duties of the E-Commerce Department.
Essential Functions:
- Perform daily operational functions of the E-Commerce Department in the absence of the E-Commerce Manager.
- Monitor and approve all online sales merchandise, photographs, descriptions, emails, pricing, customer feedback, and shipping.
- Assist in supervising and training assigned employees, trainees, and volunteers.
- Assist in training and supervising staff in cooperation with Workforces Development staff as necessary.
- Meet daily goal of posted items.
- Proofread all descriptions for clarity, spelling and grammar.
- Inventory "new arrivals" and place in designated areas.
- Research and evaluate each piece of "new arrival" merchandise.
- Recommend items for auction, prices, and descriptions based on research.
- Pull all sold orders as needed.
- Properly package each item as needed.
- Monitor packing supplies.
- Monitor completion of daily shipments.
- Help customers navigate Web site as needed.
- Follow through on any UPS, FedEx or USPS tracking as needed.
