E-Commerce Supervisor

Job Summary:

Assist the E-Commerce Manager in the daily operations and general operational duties of the E-Commerce Department.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform daily operational functions of the E-Commerce Department in the absence of the E-Commerce Manager.
2. Monitor and approve all online sales merchandise, photographs, descriptions, emails, pricing, customer feedback, and shipping.
3. Assist in supervising and training assigned employees, trainees, and volunteers.
4. Assist in training and supervising staff in cooperation with Workforces Development staff as necessary.
5. Meet daily goal of posted items.
6. Proofread all descriptions for clarity, spelling and grammar.
7. Inventory "new arrivals" and place in designated areas.
8. Research and evaluate each piece of "new arrival" merchandise.
9. Recommend items for auction, prices, and descriptions based on research.
10. Pull all sold orders as needed.
11. Properly package each item as needed.
12. Monitor packing supplies.
13. Monitor completion of daily shipments.
14. Help customers navigate Web site as needed.
15. Follow through on any UPS, FedEx or USPS tracking as needed.
