Responsible for parts and material handling in the corporate parts warehouses. Will be responsible for packing and shipping items sold through e-commerce channels, safely use tools such as forklift, pallet jack, wrapping machine and bar code scanner to assist in the receipting, storage and retrieval of parts and materials from the corporate parts warehouse and surrounding storage area. Efficiently store products in a safe and organized manner using common storage techniques, shelves and racking.
Responsibilities:- Package, label and ship items for the e-commerce business
- Utilize bar code scanner to receive inventory and assign bin locations
- Retrieve and store parts used in our e-commerce business
- Complete regular cycle counts of inventory and report damaged, lost or misplaced items immediately to supervisor
- Manage incoming UPS, FedEx and other carriers for the corporate offices and work with the retail location to ensure incoming items are delivered to the proper person quickly
- Keep areas clean, free of clutter and trash, floors swept frequently enough to reduce accumulation
- Report tool, building or rack damage to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by the E-Commerce Manager
Qualifications:
- Must have forklift training for properly operating forklifts safely
- Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds to truck bed height
- Must have ability to read and understand feedback on a bar code scanner
