OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

The Gibson e-commerce Photographer is based at the Gibson Business Operations Center (GBOC) in Nashville and handles the creation of all e-commerce web catalog photography for various products across the family of Gibson brands. The e-commerce photographer will work alongside the marketing and product teams to ensure consistent, high quality photography of guitars, parts, apparel and more.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule and coordinate product for photography
  • Shoot, edit and export product images
  • Organize and manage file storage of product images
  • Maintaining and updating the traffic system, daily
  • Communicate with marketing team on workflow status
  • Manage photo studio and photo equipment
  • Assist as needed on additional photoshoots

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Required Education/Experience

  • Minimum; High School or Equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience working in product photography
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly, highly, highly organized

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of professional DSLR cameras (Canon)
  • Strong knowledge of strobe lighting (Profoto)
  • Proficient in following software
    • Capture One
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Lightroom
  • Knowledge of MONDAY or similar traffic system a plus

  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and valuing a sense of urgency
  • Active Listening; Understanding the needs in order to execute efficiently, full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand and ask questions as appropriate
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Careful and comfortable handling high end, expensive products
  • Guitar enthusiast a plus
