Role:

We are looking for a talented eCommerce Merchandising Manager to join our team remotely. As the eCommerce Merchandising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online shopping experience for our B2B customers, optimizing product assortment, and driving sales through effective merchandising tailored to the needs of construction professionals.


Responsibilities:

Merchandising Strategy for B2B:

  • Develop and implement a merchandising strategy aligned with TOOLBX's business goals, focusing on driving online sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience of our platform customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the unique requirements of B2B customers in the construction industry.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with Brands and Vendors within the LBM space to help source and maintain product data

Product Assortment and Curation for B2B:

  • Curate and manage our product catalog, ensuring a well-balanced assortment that meets the specific needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Oversee and execute data sourcing and augmentation operations across new and existing platform customer
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends within the construction industry to make informed decisions on product selection and placement.
  • Leverage SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.

User Experience Optimization for B2B:

  • Work closely with UX/UI teams to optimize the online shopping experience, including product page layout, navigation, and search functionality.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve website navigation, product categorization, and search functionality.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze user behavior within the construction industry to continually improve the website's merchandising effectiveness.

Data Analysis for B2B:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to B2B product sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth within the B2B space.

Competitor Analysis for B2B:

  • Stay informed about industry trends within the construction B2B sector and conduct regular competitor analysis to identify merchandising best practices and opportunities for differentiation.


 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an eCommerce Merchandising Manager or similar role within a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce platforms, online retail trends specific to the construction industry, and merchandising strategies for business customers.
  • Experience working with large, multi-variable data sets, and deploying analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with the construction or related industries is a plus.
  • An entrepreneurial focus - you’re comfortable working with ambiguity, and know how to get things done
