E-Commerce Merchandiser

About us:

PDX Deals is a small retail business in NE Portland, selling large quantities of customer returned and overstock items from Costco, Amazon and Home Depot (think small appliances, tools, mattresses, furniture and home goods). There are currently three employees, and we work together closely. With that in mind, you must be willing to collaborate and function as a team player. We are fast-paced, but you'll also find that we are a relaxed environment where you can enjoy camaraderie and fun!

About You:

You are a tech-savvy individual with a desire to help grow a local small business. You bring experience in social media management and a working understanding of commerce platforms (Shopify, Facebook Marketplace, eBay). You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and hop into other warehouse duties if necessary. It can't be stressed enough that you ENJOY working as part of a team!

Responsibilities:

• Add, update, and maintain products on our e-commerce website, pdxdeals.net
• Cross-list products between Shopify and Facebook Marketplace
• Create daily content across social media platforms, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. You'll share new shipments, hot ticket items, and the goings-on of PDX Deals. Have fun with it! Get creative. Be consistent.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat
• Competent in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• History of being reliable

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
