After more than two decades, SCS Direct has evolved into a robust consumer products powerhouse that develops best of breed products across the Toy, Baby, Housewares, Home Improvement and Outdoor Living categories. Our innovative line of unique products are purchased and enjoyed by consumers not only in the United States but across the globe.

Our company is searching for an experienced Account Manager to work closely with our marketing and procurement on several vendor product lines. You will be focused on account management, orders pipeline management, market assessment, strategic planning and positioning the product lines for growth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be willing and excited to manage a product line or relationship with long term goals in mind. This candidate will also have the drive and self-motivation to be successful in the highly competitive e-commerce world.

Responsibilities:

· Manage inventory levels and replenishment for SCS Direct vendor partners

  • Assess, manage and validate vendors’ needs on an ongoing basis

Set proper expectations and provide clear status updates

  • Drive growth for our vendors by developing a growth strategy that involves selection expansion, traffic-driving initiatives and data quality improvement to increase conversion
  • Analyze the vendors' businesses by conducting deep-dive analyses and providing routine reporting on each vendor’s current businesses and future opportunities

· Manage advertising and promotion across all platforms and media

  • Publish recommendations and action plans based on data and research
  • Liaise with vendors and other employees
  • Carry out specific projects and research
  • Act as the primary point of contact and face of the business

· Set, achieve, and report sales goals for each managed brand

Skills/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field recommended, but not required

  • 1+ year of work experience in retail, marketing, sales or customer service

· Strong project management skills

· Desire to innovate and think outside the box

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience prioritizing and managing customer needs and expectations preferred
  • Superior interpersonal communication abilities, public speaking skills and relationship-building expertise
  • Produce exemplary results whether working independently or collaborating with your team
  • Impressive attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and get a rush from accomplishment
  • Exemplary Communication skills in-person, on the phone and via email
