JOB SUMMARY
The Ecommerce Product Content & Findability Coordinator is a key player in supporting and implementing a broad range of content initiatives including new site functionality, A+ visual and written content, and findability. This role is responsible for executing high-quality work against the effort and understanding the basic principles of navigation, asset management, SEO, copy coordination and fitment. To be successful in role, this person will need to be motivated by progress to goals, flexible, and team oriented – as responsibilities will vary widely from task to task. As this role will require content/data management, attention to detail and experience in Microsoft Excel will also be key.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute Product Content and Findability Initiatives
- Implement new initiatives and test new site functionality under the direction of Product Content Lead.
- Maintain and refine site findability processes like keyword research, metadata, and revising existing product descriptions.
- QA/UAT all changed products in all versions of the website and vehicle configurator. Report on issues and gaps as appropriate.
- Create and load new content to our product database, including copy, videos, images, metadata, and attributes.
- Audit our site(s) for findability and content gaps, identify where content is not meeting our standards
- Work closely with the Product Content Lead and other Product Content team members to execute other content responsibilities and projects.
Optimization of Content & Findability
- Using documented best practices execute brand-wide product content changes through data entry into our content management system.
- Update and optimize content for marketplaces (Amazon/Ebay).
- Recommend operational efficiencies and process updates.
- Work with other product content team members to support consistent adherence to content standards.
- Create and maintain documentation of best practices and content processes.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related experience.
- 1-2 years preferred experience in an Ecommerce or SEO role.
- Ability to evaluate data and make informed recommendations and decisions based on findings.
- Self motivated, attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Excellent PC skills required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with a CMS (Optimizely, for example).
- Solid math, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Interest or experience in SEO tools like Moz, Jungle Scout, etc.
- Interest or experience in AI tools and automation a plus.
