Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
This is a commission-based position. The minimum pay rate is $18.24, actual pay will vary based on commission performance.

What You'll Be Doing
Provides excellent service to Members seeking information on alternative investment products offered through broker/dealer. Assists Members with mutual funds, securities transactions, and financial planning.
- Discusses financial investment alternatives with Members. Evaluates Member's goals, risk tolerance and suggests appropriate investments.
- Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.
- Updates SchoolsFirst FCU team on products and services offered through the investment program.
- Conducts financial planning seminars on various topics.
- Ensures required compliance documents are completed. Maintains regular contact with OSJ.
- Offers financial review sessions for all Members at least annually.
- Initiates Member investment selections and records transactions with broker/dealer.
- Schedules and conducts meetings with Members via phone and in person.
Additional Job Functions
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
- 3-5 years of previous related experience Required
- Previous experience selling mutual funds, securities and insurance Required
- Certifications or licenses including Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66. California Insurance License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong data mining/manipulation skills to include knowledge of statistical programs (i.e. SAS, SQL) and/or advanced database programs
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of statistics, credit bureaus and risk scoring; and
- Strong analytical, quantitative and technical skills;
- Knowledge of loss forecasting techniques utilized in the financial services industry.
