Job Description
American Systems is currently seeking a E-3A Contractor MTC Instructor/Site Lead at JBER AFB, AK.
As a E-3A Contractor MTC Instructor/Site Lead, you will:

• Oversees operations at all E-3 AWACS JBER Mission Training Center(s).
• Instruct aircrew upgrade training and academic support simulator training.

A week in the life of E-3A Contractor MTC Instructor/Site Lead:

• Responsible for ensuring our team performs at the highest level of quality.
• Coordinate with PACAF as required to resolve local issues.
• Maintain daily utilization logs and provide status on each aircrew member's simulator mission and academic training completion to the local training officer unit representatives.
• Operate the Mission Training Center (MTC) as needed to accomplish all contract requirements.
• Perform administrative duties such as quality assurance, and oversee scheduling, record keeping, monitoring student progress, safety, security, and maintenance of training programs and equipment.
• Must meet minimum MDS specific requirements, be able to use current tactics and employment standards, and be physically qualified to operate the MTC console as applicable.
• Prepare reports as required to meet contract delivery requirements.

Job Requirements

• Current operational flight experience within 8 years, unless currently performing similar aircrew instruction duties.
• 1000 hours of E-3 experience as an Air Battle Manager (career field 13B)/ Airborne Battle Management (career field 1A4/D) / 200 hours as an instructor and previously qualified in the position hired to instruct.
• DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to gain SAP eligibility
• Must be able to perform AF Form 8 Certified Instructor duties in MTC weapon system position using current tactics and employment standards.
• Ability to perform as an instructor and provide mission briefings and debriefings to include instructional feedback of student performance and documentation IAW applicable standards.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
