DX/VRF Pipefitter

One of the top mechanical contractors is seeking HVACr Pipe fitters to join their team in the Austin area!
Refrigerant Piping - Copper Pipe Fitter
Will be responsible for cutting, measuring, and installing tubing & piping to commercial DX & VRF systems utilizing hand tools, brazing, etc.
Job Duties:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC-related piping that's related to steam, hot water, heating and cooling systems
• Review blueprints to ensure correct installation.
• Utilize hand and power tools.
• Inspect systems to ensure correct installation.
• Experience with mini-split systems
• All other duties as needed.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years exp in running copper pipe and PVC.
• Experience with Direct Expansion (DX) refrigerant systems a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, setting condensers, and running drains off fan coil units in commercial buildings.
• Experience with mini-splits.
• Hand tools are required for HVACr pipe installation.
• Must have experience with brazing and soldering copper lines.
• Must be able to work overtime if required.
