Major Role and Purpose
Drive and operate Dump Truck for transporting construction material to job and plant sites. Drug Free work place. Attendance and safety bonus.
Description of Duties
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures
- Dump Truck Driver must have a valid CDL
- Pull or push levers to dump materials
- Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to aid in the placement of material
- May perform other related duties, such as lifting & moving transported material
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip & post-trip guidelines
- Use hand tools when necessary
- Oil and lubricate equipment as required
- Maintain daily log
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned
Work Experience
- 1 year of Dump Truck driving experience. If you have not drove for another company for at least a year then please do not apply.
Physical Demands
- Safe driving record - Current DMV record, Medical Card
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving
- Physical strength must be enough to climb in and out of truck throughout the workday, and carry out tasks
Skills Required
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism
- Driver must possess a valid CDL, Class B license with air breaks endorsement
- Understand verbal & written directions, GPS
- Ability to do basic math
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.50 per hour
